Last Wednesday we had our very first ultrasound! What a great experience..we could have sat there and just watched all day. And no, we did NOT find out what we're having so those of you who were wondering pink or blue will just have to keep wondering for 20 more weeks :) Feel free to cast your boy/girl vote on the right side of this blog. It's always fun for us to see what other people think!
At this point of the pregnancy, Baby S appears to be healthy and right on target for our June 3rd due date. We counted fingers and toes and he/she appears to have inherited Cody's lips as they were clearly visible from the profile shot! We like to speculate about who the baby will look like and what color of hair it might have. I'm not sure about the hair, but that little face seemed to remind me a lot of Cody..or maybe it was just the lips, who knows? :)
I'm still feeling great and I've been enjoying the feeling of little Baby S dancing around in my tummy these last couple of weeks. Last night, Cody was finally able to feel too for the first time. I've never felt so much like a family as I did at that moment. It's really something how the feeling of movement and seeing the baby on that ultrasound screen changes things. We're really looking forward to the second half of our pregnancy and appreciate the adventure that each day brings. We are truly blessed!
